- 1). Plug the desired attachment into the opening at the top of the CalPump. The water will now be pumped out through this attachment.
- 2). Place the pump in the area of the pond where you would like to create the effect and make sure the waterline is over the inlet pump. The weighted bottom of the pump will hold it to the bottom of the pond. Don't place the pump directly in the center of the pond as the intakes can become clogged with leaves and other debris.
- 3). Plug the power cable into an available power source. Always keep the plug end of the power cable out of the water. The cable itself is insulated and water-proof but you will need to keep the plug end out of the water.
- 4). Use the button controller on the power cable to power on the P300. The pump will then create the effect using the pond water. Never use the pump dry as it could damage the unit.
