Plastic Nesting Boxes for Chicken Egg Laying

Plastic as opposed to metal and wood as a choice for your next nesting box would be a great choice.
Plastic boxes are light, colourful, easy to clean, and are designed using computer aided design to ensure that the nest is the perfect design to encourage the chicken to lay.
The fold away egg tray is ideal for catching eggs, so that the user can go in the morning to pick up their eggs.
Cleaning homemade wooden nest boxes can be very time consuming and very messy.
A plastic box would only need wiping down to clean and would get rid of any bacteria or red mite build up.
Galvanised nests also have a huge negative in that the excrement from the chickens causes them to rot pretty quickly, an issue that the plastic doesn't suffer.
A plastic nest doesn't even need straw for the chickens to lay, if your chickens have in the past been laying on the straw in a wooden box, you may want to start off with straw in your new plastic nest box and slowly remove it as the chickens begin to lay eggs.
Chickbox is the only plastic nest box that I have seen on the market and is designed to perfection.
You can actually pick it up for a very reasonable price as well, which makes it superb for the bigger poultry farmers looking to drive costs down in more ways than one.
When choosing a nest design it is easy to build the wrong design.
The first signs are the hens will lay eggs in areas other than the Nest, this does not happen with The Chickbox.
