- 1). Click the Windows "Start" button and select "All Programs." Click "Symantec" in the program groups, then click "Norton Antivirus" to open the main window.
- 2). Click the "Quarantine" button to open a list of files. The files shown were removed from the original location to the quarantine, so they can't run on your computer.
- 3). Click a file you want to remove from the quarantine and click the "Details" button. In the opened window, click "Restore & Exclude." This removes the file from the quarantine and stops Norton from removing it again on your system.
