Tips on How to Find Guests for the Podcast Interview?
The worst that can happen to a Podcaster is a shortage of guests for his Podcast Series.
The question will enter one's mind whether one will find another guest for one's next Podcast Interview and one's throat will close up because of an anxiety attack.
The secret is to have good content on your Podcast Shows and the result will be that guests will queue for your Podcast Interview.
There are many guests in any niche market, however, there is a set method on how to find them.
Conferences Conferences are very powerful and popular among the website community.
It will benefit you to go to the conferences in your niche market.
You may sit in the front row and partake in the conference by asking pertinent questions during the question and answering session, by thanking the speaker personally afterwards and explaining to him how much his contribution has meant to you.
Follow up with emails and start getting involved in his blog or forum.
A simple Google Search will show tons of information on interesting conferences, choose the most interesting conference, go to their website where you will find a page stating speakers and agenda.
This page will give you a run down of guest speakers who spoke at a previous conference.
The powerful part of these speakers is that they have the knowledge and ability of speaking, this as well as the authority and credibility in their various niche markets and is exactly the very reason that the conference authorities asked them to speak.
Small conferences have ten speakers or less, whilst the big conferences have between fifty to two hundred speakers that will give you an awesome choice of whomever you are looking for.
You open the Speaker's page and go to his or her website where all the contact details are available.
Magazines There are so many magazines available with plenty niche markets to choose from.
My advice to you is to subscribe to a few magazines delivered to your front door.
Grab a cup of coffee, make yourself at home on the coach, and, whilst you page through the magazine, you will notice potential guests that you would like to have on your show, these together with their respective references can follow-up in person.
This is a very powerful way of reaching out to the potential guest, saying that you have noticed that he or she is about to launch a book in the following month and that you would aid to help the launch on its way.
From your side the potential guest will see that you are not only blasting this email list to all potential guests, but that you have done research and, that you know the topics of the market in detail, and that they make excellent sense.
Amazon, the website of opportunity There are many authors who feature their books on Amazon in every imaginable niche.
A valuable tip is going to the new section because these authors are about to release their new books and would be a great guest on your Podcast Interview whilst they are looking for all the publicity that they can get.
Guests that have been on your Podcast Interview The next morning after the interview, contact the guest and say to him that he had rocked the show, provided that this is the truth, and ask him if he has a friend or colleague for your Podcast Interview.
The benefits to get introductions from your guest: he knows what your show is all about, he knows what you are all about, the guest will give his friends or colleagues an opportunity to go public.
An opportunity for the friends or colleagues to stand on a platform for the listeners to hear their story, their brand, their product and their service.
For more guests, you need to ask in the post-interview to plant that seed.
This concludes my favorite methods of finding guests for my Podcast Interviews.
To summarize: first, is to find the guest in a Conference website, second, to find potential guests in magazines, third, are the authors who are publishing new books and sell them through Amazon, fourth, the willing acquaintances of post-guests by asking them in an email the day after the Podcast Interview.
