Guide Review - DC Wasatch Backpack Review
The DC Wasatch has several things that set it apart from other backpacks I've tried and reviewed (besides being a snowboarding backpack!).
One is the comfort. I mentioned the breathable back lining - this is a sweet feature. The back panel is thickly padded, but the pads are covered in a very breathable mesh, which makes the whole pack a lot more comfortable to wear while sweating away snowboarding or snowskating.
The shoulder straps are ergonomically curved - that means that their shape is a little funny, and it works well. Finally, the waist strap is actually one of the strongest on the pack, with extra padding to keep you comfy.
The DC Wasatch backpack can also carry your snowboard either vertically or horizontally - but it won't double as a skate backpack. While technically it could carry your skateboard, the grip tape would wear the backpack down - there's nothing to guard it.
As far as carrying capacity goes, the DC Wasatch backpack has two pockets, with one divided area inside the main compartment. The Wasatch wouldn't be the best backpack to double as your school backpack - unless you like just dumping all your stuff into the same large compartment. One bonus - the inside lining of the compartments are bright blue, making it super easy to find your stuff when digging around inside your DC Wasatch backpack.
The final word? The DC Wasatch is perfect for snowskating and snowboarding, which is what it is made for! The Wasatch is comfortable, durable and versatile.
