How to Polish Dull Marble
- 1). Dampen the marble surface slightly with a sponge and apply some stone cleaner directly on the marble. Rub the surface of the marble with a lint-free cloth to remove any surface dirt or debris from the stone.
- 2). Wipe up the cleaner with a sponge, taking care to get up all the cleaner and wipe the surface with clear water. Dry the marble with a second, lint-free cloth.
- 3). Apply a shine-enhancing sealer such as Mira Shine to the surface of the marble and begin to polish the marble using a chamois. The chamois will gently buff the surface of the marble, helping to restore its shine. The shine-enhancing sealer will boost this effect, as well as help protect the surface of the marble from further damage.
