  Connaught Place is one of the largest business and commercial centers in New Delhi. It was designed in 1931 by the chief architect to the Government of India. It is was built in the style of British architecture of the same period and is very popular with tourists due to the many markets and shopping complexes as well as the wide range of dining experiences available.
