    • 1). Clean the crack in the concrete thoroughly. Remove any loose pieces of concrete, even if they have not fully dislodged. Use a hammer and cold chisel to loosen cracked or wedged concrete, and then use a stiff brush or broom and a vacuum to go over the full length of the crack.

    • 2). Rinse out the crack with clean water to remove any dust. After rinsing, allow the concrete to dry completely.

    • 3). Mix equal parts of the epoxy resin and hardener, following the manufacturer's instructions. Prepare no more than what you can apply in 15 to 20 minutes, the time the mixture is workable.

    • 4). Pour the epoxy mixture slowly into the crack. Fill the crack to just above the surface, and then scrape the surface with a putty knife to level it.

    • 5). Allow the epoxy to cure according to the manufacturer's recommendations before exposing the surface to use.
