How To Apply The Law Of Attraction in 5 Steps (Including The Key Teaching To Getting It Right)!

Do you struggle with how to apply the law of attraction? Have you noticed in your life that things you have been able to attract in the past, you continue to attract again and again? Have you also noticed that what you don't want to attract, continues to cause you trouble and you seem to continue to attract it into your reality? There is a simple explanation why this is happening and what you can do about it.
For a long time, I struggled with how to apply the law of attraction to get the results I wanted.
I believed in the theory behind the law of attraction and it made sense to me when I first saw it explained in "The Secret".
So I followed the advice and put what I learnt into practice.
But it started to frustrate me when I didn't seem to be getting any results.
Fortunately, through more studying and playing with how to apply the law of attraction, I came to the following realisation.
It was my lack of trust in the law of attraction to work for me that was creating a pattern of thought which was destructive to attracting what I wanted.
As we know, the law of attraction states that "like attracts like".
So my thoughts had over time gathered evidence and thus formed a belief.
I began to realise that this is the deep belief which attracted the situations into my life to keep that belief true.
It was a cycle which needed to be broken and changed to create a new belief in order to support it.
Even though I was consciously following the advice on how to apply the law of attraction, I was unconsciously focusing on the 'what is' reality rather than the 'what I want' reality.
The 'what is' reality is much more simple to believe because there is already evidence of the 'what is' whereas there is no evidence yet to support what you 'want it to be'.
You have to feel the 'what you want it to be' with the same emotional intensity as the 'what is' reality of the situation.
This is where FAITH comes in.
Not in a religious context, but a faith that creates the emotional intensity and feelings that what you want is already in your reality! A nice way I've heard it stated is the following.
"Believing is seeing!" Notice it is not "Seeing is believing" as the common saying goes.
To state it like this is based on seeing evidence that it is true.
But when we say "Believing is Seeing", it is based on faith! What I had to do in order to change this is consciously catch myself gathering evidence that continued to prove my 'what is' reality.
I had to stop believing and focusing on the 'what is' and start trusting in the receiving of "the way I want it to be".
So these are the steps I worked out on how to apply the law of attraction:
  1. Put out to the universe what I wanted (and make sure it's stated in the positive).
  2. Trust or have faith that it would respond.
  3. Feel the feelings of already having that which I desire.
  4. I would then consciously focus on gathering evidence to support my new belief until it became automatic (thus also weakening my old belief in the 'what is').
  5. Await for the universe to reply.
