The general consensus is that the interactive Let's Dance Princess Genevieve doll is fascinating, to say the least! The doll itself stands tall at 16". Barbie dolls are usually static, they don't really do much except for look pretty, but not this one! The interactive features make this beautiful doll one of the more interesting Barbies I've come across in recent times.

The Let's Dance Doll does exactly what the name suggests - guides your little one through basic ballet steps via demonstration.

Little girls will get a thrill out of following the lovely Barbie doll as she gracefully glides through her dance.

In the DVD release "Barbie in The 12 Dancing Princesses," Barbie doll plays a special role as the seventh of twelve sisters. The interactive Let's Dance Doll is based on Barbie as Princess Genevieve in the DVD movie.

So, what does this doll do? The beautiful Barbie doll will dance with you in three different ways!

First, there's a performance mode, where Barbie will dance for you, to her own music. Second, the Barbie doll will teach you her dance moves, by demonstrating and using speech prompts. Third, the Barbie doll can follow along YOUR dance moves, using the included motion activated bracelets and shoes.

The Barbie doll wears a beautiful gown and comes with a removable base. The doll is rather large at 16" (I fancy that's to justify the high selling price!), but she looks really beautiful. I loved the interactive features, which are great for encouraging your little ones to develop an interest in dance. The Let's Dance doll is a must have for this holiday season, and makes a superb gift for kids aged between 5 and 15!
