End Infected Processes

• 1). Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete.
  
  
• 2). Click on the "Task Manager."
  
  
• 3). Click on the "Processes" tab.
  
  
• 4). Right-click on "chiCkie," and select "End Process."
  
  

Remove ChiCkie From Startup

• 1). Click on the "Start" menu.
  
  
• 2). Click on "Run."
  
  
• 3). Type "msconfig" (without the quotation marks) into the open box and click "OK." The System Configuration Utility will open.
  
  
• 4). Click on the "Startup" tab.
  
  
• 5). Uncheck the box next to "chiCkie," and then close the System Configuration Utility window.
  
  

Remove ChiCkie From Registry Editor

• 1). Click on the "Start" menu.
  
  
• 2). Click on "Run."
  
  
• 3). Type "regedit" (without the quotation marks) into the open box and click "OK." The Registry Editor window will open.
  
  
• 4). Locate the following folder in the left pane of the Registry Editor and click on it.
  
  "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shared Tools\MSConfig"
  
  
• 5). Delete the following folders that appear when you click on the above folder. To delete a folder, right-click on it and select "Delete."
