During warmer weather, the night blooming jasmine displays greenish white flower clusters in the evening, hence the name. Depending on the climate, the jasmine can bloom during the spring, summer and fall months. This fragrant evergreen can grow up to 10 feet tall and 6 feet wide, making it great for use in any landscape.

There are more than 200 species of the gardenia plant and most gardenias will bloom in all seasons, except winter. Depending on the species of the gardenia, they can grow to be 6 feet tall.
Gardenias are hardy in Zones 9 to 10. Gardenias originated in Japan and China, so they grow much better in tropical climate. During the day time, gardenias do best with temperatures that range from 68 to 74 degrees with the night temperature around 60 degrees. The yellow anise, (Illicium parviflorum) is a drought resistant, fragrant, flowering evergreen. The leaves are between 3 and 5 inches long and approximately 2 inches wide. The flowers are a greenish yellow and shaped like a bell. This evergreen remains in bloom throughout all four seasons. When the yellow anise is not pruned, it can grow to a 20 foot height and up to 15 feet wide.
Yellow anise thrives in Zones 8 to 10. These flowering evergreens prefer adequate moisture, but they will survive periods of a drought. The crinum lily (Crinum asiaticum) is a fragrant flowering evergreen that is native to Asia; however this plant is becoming very popular in states such as Florida and California. The crinum lily has beautiful dark green leaves that grow over 3 feet in length. The fragrant flowers are tube shaped, white in color and they flair open into narrow petals. The crinum lily blooms in the spring, summer and early fall. This evergreen plant does not do well with cold winters. With the proper environment, the crinum lily can grow up to 5 feet tall and approximately 7 feet wide, making it a great center piece for a garden or landscape.
The USDA Hardiness Zone range for the crinum lily is 9 to 11. This flowering evergreen is very low maintenance; these plants will be very happy in any well drained soil that gets bright sun. Because the crinum lily prefers dry soils, it requires little water and is fairly drought tolerant. The crinum lily fits well into most landscape settings and is a popular choice for gardeners who want to conserve water.
