Perhaps, you have noted that the far-left political spectrum in the USA seems to keep telling Americans that we should feel guilty for our involvement in the global economy, or so-called global warming CO2 footprint.
Then the left wishes to condemn our own military and our involvement in wars, peace-keeping, and other efforts around the globe.
Not long ago a hateful war-protestor from Canada, who has aligned herself with far-left politics stated to me; "Atrocities are committed much more with soldiers arriving in a country which never invited them in the first place.
" This maybe historically factual, but it certainly is not what the US Military is about and those who condemn the US in such a matter do a huge disservice to the free-world, by diminishing America's Strength and trust.
To bring up My Lai in Vietnam today is flat wrong, just as failing to mention the sectarian violence in Iraq, the torture from their own people onto their own people with power tools.
Those citizens of the US and Canada who think it convenient to do war protests and condemn our own team for our work around the world are indeed, the very propaganda that our enemies enjoy and in a way are just as damaging as bullets in the battle space.
Our war protestors are for some reason proud of themselves, and their left-wing politicians use this for their own rise to fame, against what's in the best interests of our nation.
If you know someone in the military, thank them for their service, and for honoring our great country.
And if you see a war-protestor on the corner, don't give them the time of day, and threaten to cut your newspaper subscription when they put these children on the front page.
Please consider all this and sleep on it.
