Today I met a friend who dropped 60 pounds in 3 months with the help of protein shakes and a nutritionist.He was weighing some 300 pounds in December when he had his "Eureka moment" and made a decision to improve his fitness to lose weight.What he did was do a combination of protein shakes with a nutritionist, it worked for him.And I started thinking, what are the characteristics of diets that work?We started talking and as we reached the following five points:

1. Low cost

Diets that work (especially today with the economic crisis) are diets that can be carried out with an investment that does not affect much the pocket.Example, the macrobiotic diet is a great diet, but it is expensive!Not necessarily get all the ingredients and if you got a weight would drop it would stop eating because the diet is so expensive.Outside Eastern countries where you can easily find the ingredients, this type of diet is uphill on the wallet.
