You may know how to check a dog out when you are shopping around, but some of these conditions can be hidden until the dog reaches a certain age.
Not only does that lead to a sick puppy, but also more money spent.
Go straight to the breeder.
Check your local paper.
If one of the 'puppy for sale' ads was placed by a breeder, they will gladly include that information.
Look at their breeding ground for these items.

All dogs playing, happy and healthy.
Do they have room to move and exercise? Most importantly, do they get along socially with the breeder and family? Do they get along with you and your family? 2.
A good breeder wants to know WHO is buying one of his or her puppies.
This person should be asking you lots of questions such as the reasons you want a dog, past pet experience, size of your home, house or apartment, size of family, age opf children if any, and other items about the future home of the little pup.
A breeder who cares about the future of the animal has CARED for him or her from birth.

If the breeder wants to show you the puppy's parents, then he or she is open to show and tell you everything about the puppy.
This point also shows that you answered the above questions to their liking.

Ask the breeder questions about the specific breed.
If the breeder can answer questions about such things as traits, abilities, best training techniques, and anything else you can think of.
Test his or her knowledge.
The more this breeder knows, the more dedicated he or she truly is.

Documents of health care, vaccinations and check ups.
If they offer full health disclosure, that is a plus.

If the breeder gives advice on future care, he or she wants to know the pup is cared for.
7.
The willingness to take the dog back should you not be able to keep it.

The exchange of contact information.
Allowing you to call at any time should you have any questions, and the thought to call a while after your purchase to make sure everything is okay.
It will be worth the extra miles to drive to a reputable breeder.
Make sure you have the dog that will live a full healthy life and become a true part of your family.
