There are a number of Indian associations in Tampa, Florida. Many of these associations seek to provide cultural awareness to the community at large and serve as support for issues pertaining to the Indian community in Tampa. While many of the activities are social in nature, these associations also provide networking opportunities and other services to their members. - The India Cultural Center (ICC) is one of the largest Indian associations in the nation. Emphasizing cultural awareness, the ICC operates two cultural centers---the Magnolia Ballroom and Lotus Gallery, both of which are available for ceremonies and other cultural activities. Members of the ICC can also take advantage of the organization's guest speakers, Bhangra activities, and free yoga courses.

The Tampa Bay chapter provides services for elderly, youth, women and the general population and promotes Gujarti values through its work. The Tamil Sneham holds a special interest in feeding the poor and assisting the disabled, though they participate in a number of social events throughout the year as well. The organization also provides Tamil classes, which impart Tamil values to children, and maintains a chess club for interested parties. Lifetime membership to the Tamil Sneham is $250.00.
