Put yourself in their shoes, a robotic interviewing style that doesn't feel like it is getting to the heart of what they want may make them feel that this is not the recruitment agency they want representing them. Remember that to a candidate, being interviewed by a recruiter is not the same as being interviewed by an employer, and they can easily begin to feel like their time is being wasted.

Interview training can sharpen your whole team's interviewing skills fast

Chances are, everyone you have in your recruitment team has their own interview style, and their own bad habits that make their interviews less productive than they could be. At the same time, they are all likely to be reasonably competent and well trained in interviewing, and wouldn't get much benefit from a back-to-basics interview training course.
