Pinocchio for iPad number 1 in Italy's Books charts, number 2 in general charts
We've more or less known for months now: anyone who saw Pinocchio grow, day by day, offering their invaluable (and sometimes scathing!) critiques to make our app much better, and anyone who casually picked up the app for the first time suddenly became little kids again and started to laugh, tapping away at their iPad screens like mad… But seeing Pinocchio for iPad up there, sitting on top of a pile of great books, is an incredible feeling!
And the readers' reviews have been telling us just what we knew they would: Pinocchio for iPad is a NEW book, and kids are just loving it. Leaving aside the purely enthusiastic reviews, here are a few of the more descriptive ones:
Daniele Dallorto says that "This is just what an interactive book should be like!"
And LuigiF Lodi writes: "A great way to spend time with your children. An animated book made with passion, attention and care for detail. My little kids, aged 2 and 8, really enjoyed it."
Max Griso had the following to say: "Fantastic. Really well-made. My kids haven't had this much fun in ages!!!!"
Multimago said: "Made in Italy!! Guys, this is superlative stuff. Everything is really original and very interactive. The music and drawings are just right for this story, which is still great after all these years. My daughter loves it."
And Dom Talla74 wrote: "Great job! My 8-year-old read the whole thing with great enthusiasm and really enjoyed it. Perhaps it's a bit too short, but it's a step in the right direction." Some readers would like it to be longer… Sure, when you're having fun you don't want the experience to end. But we're convinced that this is just the right length for children, especially considering all the interactivity. However, we will certainly keep this in mind as we're working on the updates. How could we not agree, however, with those who say that the entire Collodi story should be read from beginning to end…
