How Is Your Life Measuring Up Today?
I know there are a lot of people today, who seem to be meandering through life, as if it was a bad dream, and any minute they are about to wake up, or at least they hope so.
Does this sound like you? Is your life where you had dreamed it would be? Are you living the life you deserve, or do you wake up and say "what the heck happened to my life, and how did I get here?" It's not too late to say, "enough is enough, and I am not going to take this anymore!" Are you one of those people, who has been wondering in limbo, going on autopilot, just getting through the day, and then you get home, and think, "wow, am I in the wrong house, because this doesn't look like my home or my life? Who are these people I am living with, and this can't really be my husband or wife, because I KNOW that I was suppose to be living somewhere else, somewhere better and that person over there, staring at the TV can't be mine!" LOL Well, you have to find the humor in everything, right? Now maybe you don't feel quite like this, or perhaps you do, and you just don't want to admit it.
If this is you, then rest assure, there is still hope for you and your loved ones! Don't feel bad, because I have been there, in fact I just left there, and there is hope for you yet! I am a powerful woman, and a leader that is taking back her life, one day at a time, only with turbo action this time! I don't have time, for moving forward slowly, instead I am moving forward in leaps and bounds! I was the woman, who continually came home, and kept wondering each time I opened the door, if I was lost in someone else's life, and in someone else's home.
I couldn't quite grasp the "where have I been" and the "how did I get here" thoughts in my head, for each day seemed longer, and more hopeless than the next.
I wondered who that person was, on the couch, glued to the TV and who sucked me rigjht into their web, of staring at that BOX for hours upon end.
While it wasn't so long ago, that I was on a mission, for a wonderful life, fulfilling my dream and I had a purpose, a wonderful, and a grandiose purpose, to live the life I had always dreamed of.
I was going to be on stage, speaking to thousands of people, sharing my story, and I was witty and funny, not to mention, a STAR! Did I mention I was a STAR? Yes, I was that woman, that clever girl, who was "Rebecca from Sunnybrook Farm" goes to Dallas, and hits it big with big grandiose dreams, of a grandeur lifestyle that would lead me to my "somewhere over the rainbow!" Then I woke up, in a tiny little home, that I fixed up so sweet, and had a sweet loving husband, and we would live happily ever after, and we would buy real estate together, and build a wonderful horse farm, and travel around together at speaking engagements, and in between live quietly on our horse farm with horses and Harleys.
That was the dream, and uho, what happened? I woke up after the wedding, and all of the sudden, I went into a depression, and yet didn't know why.
I married the man I loved, and he was so good to me, and loved me dearly.
I had a cute little house, but in the wrong zipcode, and I kept looking around, and wondering, "how in the heck did I get here?" I was on the side of town, that I always steered clear of, and living in a tiny home, where I had to stuff all my belongings and decor in a shed out back, because nothing I owned would fit in this tiny house.
Then it hit me: I had settled! Then one day, I began talking about dreams with my husband, and hoping to spark some new hope in our lives.
I would test out a few ideas on him with my big excited, and hopeful eyes, only to be deflated with a side of him I never saw, or perhaps chose to ignore.
I realized at that moment, that "he" doesn't dream.
I married a man, who has no dreams, never intended on dreaming, and had no intention of dreaming with me.
How does this happen, to a girl like me? I was "Little Miss Sunshine" when he met me, full of big dreams and big hope, and all of the sudden, someone pulled the rug out from under me! I went from "Little Miss Sunshine" to hopeless and tired with chronic fatigue! Now I did everything I could to pick myself up, and I was running in all directions, trying to recapture my dreams.
I privately thought to myself one day, "oh no, what have I done? Did I marry the wrong person, and was this all a big mistake?" Yet I couldn't understand, because I knew I was in love, hopelessly devoted, and head over hills in love with this man.
And he was in love with me.
Yet how did I get to this point? How did I go from the biggest dreamer I know, to living the life I would run like hell from, if I saw it coming within 100 yards of me! And yet, there I was, living and breathing the life I always hoped to avoid! Well, it happens, and it happens to the best of us! We have big dreams and some of us go after them, and some of us just meander around hopelessly, waiting for that rescue! And the rescue never comes: or it does, and we just didn't recognize the opportunity even when it slapped us in the face! Well, that wasn't my problem, as far as the opportunities go.
I went after every opportunity that came my way, but for some strange reason, or for whatever reason, I just didn't quite make it happen! I gave it my all, but something just never clicked.
If this sounds like you, and you are out there waiting for your miracle, well let me tell you, your miracle is already there, deep inside you! You just haven't recognized yourself yet.
You walk in your bathroom and look at yourself in the mirror, and then you stare deep into your eyes.
What do you see? I will tell you what you see! You see your biggest problem, looking right back at ya! That's right! It's you my friend, and it sucks! I know, I have looked at that same mirror, only I saw ME! Now, that we have gotten this far, well the rest is actually easy.
Once you realize that YOU are your worst problem, and that once you get out of YOUR OWN WAY, is when your life will dramatically change! When you discover this moment, is when you will wake up, and out of the blue, you will walk taller, speak stronger, (maybe even grow hair on your chest, or face, or chin..
LOL) But either way, you now take a turn for the better! Now that is not all of my story, as there is more, but that is for another time! But wait...
there's more! AHA...
stay tuned! I will get back to my story, but that is another article! Now back to you! You are the creator or your life! We all create our life! As much as we hate to admit it, we created the bad in our past, and we create the NOW! The good news is, the NOW and the future! Whatever we created in the past, is the past! It is only important what we create today, and what we create today, is our future! Start today, by focusing your thoughts on what you want out of life, in the next 90 days.
You can create a wonderful "next 90 days" just by focusing on what you want! But here is the glitch! You have to MAKE A DECISION! Once you make a decision that you are going after your dreams, and the life you so deserve, and that you are willing to do whatever it takes, is when your life will change.
Champions of success know no boundaries! The sky is the limit and there are infinite possibilities everywhere! Once you make that hard, fast, and true decision, and you become unstoppable, is when your life will change overnight! Wake up to your success! Wake up to your inner self, because you already have everything you need within, to be successful, and the only thing stopping you, is you!
