Why Do I Get Acne - Is There Really a Cure?

103 1
Now in its most basic format acne is a skin condition which most of us will suffer from as some stage of our lives.
In some people it will stay with us for a while and for other's it will be a passing phase, they are the lucky one's.
Also even more frustrating is finding out why the condition has happened to you in the 1st place.
There is no underlying reason why any one person would get it over another.
You can have twins with the same diet, same exercise regime, same everything and still one of them may develop acne over the other.
Why? Now step number 1 for battling against acne is the diet.
Organic foods are the best way to go as they do not use the same harsh chemicals when they are produced/cultivated.
Even though these chemicals are in trace amounts, they soon build up and combine and therefore will affect the health and in turn skin of whoever eats them.
Cutting down on the intake of these types of food can help.
Step number 2.
As everyone knows water purifies the body.
Drinking 2 litres of water a day is advised by most nutritionist's and doctors and is important as the more water that you consume the more chance that it will wash away from the inside anything that is invading the pores of the skin.
Step number 3.
Vitamins.
Now we are always told to eat our fruits and greens etc.
But when we don't, we still expect our body to be ship shape.
These foods contain key vitamins and when the body doesn't get them then it starts to suffer.
Now lets not get carried away here.
The body isn't going to shutdown, its just going to get a little sluggish.
You have heard of the term couch potato? Do you know any couch potatoes that eat healthy, drinks lots of water and take vitamins? No, because there bodies are in good shape and thus their mind is in good shape and the last thing that both of them want to do is slouch down in front of the TV.
If you can't eat the foods that make your body feel good inside then vitamins can help, although they are not to be taken as a quick fix.
Step number 4.
Along the same path as vitamins is the natural remedy route, ie herbs etc.
A particular herb named Red Clover is popular as it works as a blood purifier and thus removes toxins from the blood.
Now that can only be a good thing right? Finally step 5 is to seek professional help.
At the end of the day everyone's skin is different.
Like I said earlier what works for one may not work for another.
Dermatologists know everything about skin and can diagnose conditions because they have seen them before.
While they may not be able to cure it, they can certainly help relieve it.
