Project X shafts in the 2009 Callaway X Forged Irons
After several months away from the links, my friend decided to motivate himself to get back to the course by purchasing a new set of irons. After spending a month or two looking at reviews and visiting golf shops, he chooses the 2009 Callaway X-Forged irons with Project X shafts. Although these irons cost a bit more money than he originally wanted to spend, he is happy that I decided to spend the extra cash. It did take some time to adjust to my swing to these Golf Clubs Sale, but the extra time on the range has been well worth it. These clubs are sweet! He has played golf for years and has never been able to stick his iron shots so consistently near the pin.
The carbon steel forging gives these Forged irons an incredibly soft feel to provide responsive feedback immediately upon impact. Also, because the center of gravity is positioned lower in the long irons and moves progressively higher into the shorter irons, the trajectory from these clubs is incredible and the amount of precision and control is equally impressive. The notch back design makes the X-Forged irons stable through impact, as well as enhancing the feel even further and keeping the center of gravity close to the club face.
X-Forged irons are manufactured by forging soft "1020" carbon steel. The forging of clubs involves firing steel, followed by hammering, framing and shaping the steel into clubheads, which are then cooled and polished.
'Progressive Dual Notch Weighting' places weight on the top and bottom of the cavity allows for the Flighted CG Design. By progressively adjusting the notch weighting through the set, it strategically adds more weight to shorter irons and removes weight from longer irons to produce strong, penetrating trajectories.
Unlike with the cavity back Callaway X-series Golf Irons Sale where even a poorly hit shot can offer some reward, there is not a lot of room for error with an X Forged iron. You don't have to be too far off centre with a strike to be punished with the X Forged Irons. Any player who doesn't strike the golf ball consistently well will not be able to play a good golf game with these irons, even the shorter ones.
He really likes these irons after finally deciding to choose the forged irons he thinks he made the right choice. He would like to < [http://www.worldgolfsale.com/Golf-684-2009-Callaway-X-Forged-Irons.html] > let me know that it is a lot different when I play then when I hit balls on the range although the feel is unbelievable on the range it takes time to get the feel on the course.
