Article Writing Ideas - How to Avoid Running Out of Interesting Topics to Write

103 2
One of the major difficulties that every writer is facing on a regular basis is not knowing what else to write.
If you've been doing article marketing for quite some time, I am sure you've encountered this problem as well.
There are just some times that you feel you've talked about every single topic related to your products and chosen niche and there's just nothing else that you can discuss.
The problem is, you cannot afford to stop writing articles especially if you want to generate continuous flow of search engine traffic to your website.
Good thing there are some things that you can do to ensure that you will not run out of great ideas for your articles and these are the following:
  1. Keyword research.
Start your day by doing keyword research using keyword trackers available in the online arena.
Aside from using those free ones, try to use those paid ones as well as they're offering more comprehensive information.
If you're lucky enough to find new keywords on the list, you will not have any problem converting them to new topic ideas that you can discuss on your articles.
  2. Join forums.
Access those forums that are regularly visited by your target audience.
These are the online places where these people usually ask questions or talk about their pressing issues.
List down those that are closely related to the type of business that you're running and write articles about them.
If you're active on these forums, you can go ahead and ask other members for specific information that they're looking for to easily get their pulse.
  3. Check out the competition.
Visit the author page of your competitors on major article marketing sites and know the topics that they're discussing to get an idea.
Remember, your goal here is not to copy their articles.
Look into those topics that they're discussing and see if you can target different angles so you can still set your articles apart from the rest and so you can still offer your readers another set of useful information.
  4. Talk about all-time in-demand topics.
Years of writing my web articles have taught me the best topics for my copies.
These include the pressing issues of my target audience and their areas of interest.
These people will also pay attention if you give them how-to guides or tips list.
  5. Check relevant RSS feeds.
Make it a habit to check all relevant RSS feeds related to your chosen niche so you'll know the latest issues that your target audience might find interesting.
  6. Interview other experts.
Call those people who are also considered experts in your niche and try to exchange great ideas with them.
As they say, two (or more) heads are better than one so this can surely help you all come up with new topics that you can discuss when you're about to write new articles for your target audience.
