    • Wheatgrass contains vitamins A, B and C, numerous minerals like calcium and potassium, amino acids, enzymes and chlorophyll. Its supposed benefits include increased energy, improved digestion, pain relief, healthier blood, stabilized blood sugar levels and accelerated healing of the skin.

    Juice

    • The most common way to drink wheatgrass is drinking it in a shot form. The wheatgrass juice is extracted through a special juicer and is served as a concentrated liquid. This shot can be topped with dried health foods like spirulina.

    Cocktail

    • Wheatgrass juice can also be mixed with other fruit juices to create a cocktail. Orange and apple juice are especially popular mixers. A shot of wheatgrass juice is simply added to a glass of fruit juice and drunk normally.

    Smoothie

    • Wheatgrass is noted for having a rather unpleasant taste. This is why many people have taken to adding it to smoothies to get the benefits of its nutrients without drinking it neat. The juice or powder can be added to a combination of fruits, vegetables and other juices in a blender and served with ice.

    Chewing

    • By chewing wheatgrass the liquid concentrated in the grass stems is directly ingested into the body. The fibrous stems can then be thrown away as they are indigestible.
