The Best Way to Remove Glue From Concrete or Cement
- 1). Pour adhesive remover on a rag, then apply to the glue. Saturate the glue generously with the adhesive remover. Allow two or three hours for the remover to dissolve the glue, if necessary.
- 2). Scrape the softened glue from the concrete with a putty knife. Work the putty knife gently under the glue stain. Keep the knife as level as possible to avoid scratching the concrete.
- 3). Mix ½ cup of powdered laundry detergent with 5 or 6 drops of water to form a paste. Use more water if needed to make a thick paste.
- 4). Apply the cleaning paste to the leftover glue stains with a rag, then scrub with a soft-bristled brush to remove the rest of the stain.
- 5). Rinse the soap residue away with a garden hose, bucket of water or a high-pressure sprayer.
