Ferrets are exotic pets and are a wonderful addition to your family if you know how to care for them properly.

It's completely your choice! You can also bathe your ferret to prevent any smelly odors.
Ferrets are sort of like owning a puppy that never grows up.
They are small and always playful...
even when they get older! They usually live to be around 6-8 years old, but can live to be much older.
Some havebeen known to live to be 12 years old.
Feeding them isn't complicated.
You can feed them a high quality cat food or a diet that petstores sell that is specifically for ferrets.
Ferrets are thieves -- they love to steal shiny things and socks around your house, and will hide them under couches, beds, etc.
If you have a sense of humor or enjoy hide and seek, a ferret may be the perfect pet for you! They do need a fairly large cage, but most ferret cages are multi-leveled, so they won't take up too much room.
You should keep the ferret in its cage when you aren't home because they are mischiveious.
But, when you get home you can let them out and have fun!
