• Don't overextend your luck. Nurse balls gently toward pockets unless you are certain they will go in immediately; it's better not to have balls wildly caroming off the cushions.
• For Trick Blast Billiards, your timer is always running. Get committed to your shot of choice then fire away. Use pen and paper or a Word document or notepad to record your trial and error trick blast attempts.

• Take soft strokes indeed to jostle danger pool balls away from dynamite or pockets (for the cue ball) in free games like Deluxe Blast Billiards and Ultimate Blast Billiards. Be warned, however, you must contact an object ball on each and every stroke or be penalized up to ten seconds in the game timer.
• Look for a blast billiards combo shot. Stroke the cue ball to impact one object ball into another ball to score and clear paths. Do be on the lookout for nearby dangers--you must take into account the path the first object will take away from collision.
