How to Defrost Plate Meals in Minutes
- 1). Remove your meal from the freezer and unwrap it.
- 2). Place the container in the microwave if it is safe to use it in the microwave. If it is not, remove the food from the container and place it on a microwave-safe plate.
- 3). Select the low-power defrost setting in your microwave.
- 4). Defrost the meal for approximately six to eight minutes per pound of food. Adjust the time accordingly for smaller or larger portions.
- 5). Reheat the meal in the microwave or oven. Food should be reheated to an internal temperature of 165 degrees.
