How to Reduce Nose Pore Size
- 1). Wash your face with a gentle cleanser, moving your fingertips in a circular motion. Pay particular attention to the area around your nose where makeup and dirt tends to accumulate. Rinse your face with lukewarm water and pat dry.
- 2). Sit with your face over a facial sauna or a steaming teapot for 10 minutes to open your pores. Drape a towel over the back of your head to capture as much of the steam as possible. Periodically wipe away the oil and dirt from your face and from around your nose with a warm, moist washcloth.
- 3). Examine your skin in a magnifying mirror to look for debris left behind. Use a pore extractor to squeeze out traces of dirt and oil on particularly large pores. A pore extractor is less damaging to your skin than squeezing with your fingertips.
- 4). Apply a clay mask to draw out any additional debris and shrink your pores. Leave the mask on for the time recommended by the product manufacturer--typically 10 minutes or until dry. Wipe the clay mask from your face with a clean moist washcloth. Pat dry.
- 5). Swipe your face and nose with a cotton ball soaked with a facial toner. Apply salicylic lotion to your face if it is oily.
