How to Paint a Frankenstein Face
- 1). Mix some green and yellow face-paint together with a makeup brush. Apply the yellowish-green color to the forehead, cheeks, nose and temples using the makeup sponge.
- 2). Cover the bottom half of the face in pure green. Blend the light green and dark green with the makeup sponge. Add some darker green around the face where the yellow-green is not fully covering the face with color.
- 3). Dip the sponge in purple and add definition to the cheekbones, the sides of the nose and under the eyes.
- 4). Paint the top eyelid to the brow bone with brown paint. Use the makeup brush for greater accuracy. Add brown paint under the eyes and to the bottom eyelid as well. Darken the brows with brown paint.
- 5). Add black paint as a thick eyeliner around the eye. Feather the black paint from the eye in a triangular shape. Blend the black paint into the face with the makeup sponge.
- 6). Use the makeup brush to paint red paint over the lips. Add purple paint over the red paint for a dirty and scary appearance. If this look is for a child, skip this step as the child could lick her lips and ingest the paint, which could be a health hazard. Even if you use nontoxic paint, ingesting paint is never a good idea.
- 7). Fill in with green paint on any areas of the face where the coloring does not look authentic or thick enough. Use your best judgment to determine how much paint to apply.
- 8). Draw black lines randomly at different points across the face for scars. Use cross lines across the main lines to simulate the stitches in Frankenstein's face. Go over each scar again with red paint to make the scars and stitching look more authentic.
- 9). Add some fake blood to a few of the scars to make them look fresh and messy. Use a makeup brush to apply the fake blood.
