How to Make Centerpieces for an Adult Birthday Party
- 1). Group miniature flower vases from thrift shops on a large work space so that you can survey the designs and colors. The vases should be an assortment of colors and finishes. You will group them together on the party tables later, and the variations will add to the unique feel of the centerpiece.
- 2). Fill the vases with water and insert a single flower into each vase. You may need to snip---at a slant and under warm running water---the flower to fit the vase. Place three vases in various places in the center of the table.
- 3). Place one miniature wire photo stand or holder in the center of the table. Spread out the wire arms on the photo stand and insert photos of your friend in between the photo clips on the ends of the wires.
- 4). Write messages on blank index cards with paint markers of various colors. Then, insert the cards into the remaining clips on the photo stand. Some messages you might consider are: "Happy Birthday!" and "Happy 50th Birthday!" When you are finished, you will have a fan of photos and messages on each table.
