How to Sear Tofu
- 1). Cut tofu into 1/2-inch cubes and lay on paper towels to absorb excess moisture.
- 2). Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- 3). Season tofu with bold flavors such as balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, ginger, red pepper or paprika.
- 4). Saute tofu in oil for 45 seconds to 1 minute to lightly sear the outside and heat the inside.
