How to Play Homebrew DS Games
- 1). Download the proper Operating System for your DS adapter card. These can generally be found at the manufacturer's website. Place the folder containing your operating system files on your desktop.
- 2). Move your DS homebrew game files into the folder marked "Homebrew" in your adapter card's operating system folder. These files end with the filename: ".ds"
- 3). Insert an SD card into your PC. If your PC does not accept SD cards, you will need an SD USB adapter.
- 4). Select the "Open Folder to View Files" option in the Auto-Play menu for your SD card and move the folder containing your operating system into the SD card folder.
- 5). Remove your SD card from your PC.
- 1). Insert the SD card into your DS adapter card. Insert the adapter card into your DS and turn the DS on.
- 2). Select the option for your DS adapter card in the DS main menu.
- 3). Select the "Homebrew" option in your DS adapter card's main menu to bring up a list of the homebrew games you transferred to the SD card in section one.
- 4). Choose one of the games to begin playing.
