- 1). Slowly and gently reach into the cage and remove the eggs, one at a time. If the female parakeet won't allow you to touch the eggs, wait a little longer until she loses interest and moves away.
- 2). Open the cage and let your bird out (if you normally do so), and clean the area where the eggs had been laid.
- 3). Place some of the extra filler where the eggs had been.
- 4). Put your bird back in the cage.
