Throughout the years, I have seen a slew of Treo phones from Palm Inc, but so far the Palm Treo Pro seems to be the best one I have seen so far.
Broadening its Windows Mobile line-up, the Treo Pro is aimed at corporate networks and individuals that prefer unlocked smartphones.
Built in a piano black case and shaped just like any other Treos they had, the Treo Pro is solid.
What I like about the Treo Pro is that it is not as fingerprint friendly as similar devices so you don't have to spend half your time to wipe the device.

True to its tradition, below the screen is the QWERTY keypad.
The keypad is not one of the best I have used but it is pretty close.
When Palm decided to ship their devices with Windows Mobile, it agitated the old timers.
They argued that Palm OS is simple to use and not as resource hungry as the Windows Mobile.
Palm succumbed to pressure and discontinued the Palm OS.
Nevertheless, the Palm Treo runs Windows Mobile 6.

During the course of review, the device did not crash and it ran everything pretty fast.
The Palm Treo Pro has 256MB of ROM and 128MB RAM and it can be extended through the microSD slot located next to the battery.
I particularly liked the silent on/off slide located next to the power button.
You don't need to dig into the menus or long keypress.
Just slide it to silent and you're done.
Key locking is also easy.
All you need to do is to press the "end call" button and it's locked.
It is that simple.
Palm devices always have a spot in my hearts as they were one of the very first in the PDA markets.
The Palm Treo didn't disappoint me.
Let just pray and hope that Palm puts back their Palm OS into the Treo.
