How to Make Your Own Ornament Crafts
- 1). Wrap a 3-by-2-inch rectangle with three different 1-inch strips of decorative Christmas scrapbook paper. Squeeze lines of glue where the papers meet and pour on glitter (blowing off and saving the excess).
- 2). Cover a 3-inch cardboard circle with colorful paper. Adhere a photo of your child and underneath it spell out her name and the year in stickers, stamped letters or your handwriting. Glue jewels around the photo and adhere a tiny bow on top of the photo.
- 3). Adhere three consecutively smaller white cardboard circles on top of each other to form a snowman. Cover the middle circle in glue and shake on white glitter. Cut out and adhere a top hat and draw in eyes and a mouth with a marker.
- 4). Cut out a 4-by-4-inch piece of cardboard and cover it in funky Christmas paper. Mat a small picture of your family and adhere it to the cardboard. Dot glue all over the display and cover with glitter to represent snow.
- 5). Put crayons, markers and stickers in your kids' hands and let them create their own designs on a 5-by-5-inch sheet of card stock. Adhere it to cardboard cut to the same size.
- 6). Punch a hole at the top of each ornament and thread ribbon through for easy hanging.
