• Just because it's your silver anniversary doesn't mean you have to buy jewelry or engraved plates. How about a romantic weekend at, say, one of several resorts named "Silver"? Memory Lane

• Remember your first date? What about your first kiss? Why not revisit the places all your "firsts" took place? If it's in another city, you have an even better excuse for a weekend getaway. Try to relive at least three of your firsts. See a movie in the theater where you first shared popcorn, or have dinner at the same restaurant where you first locked eyes. And to top the night off, stand on the doorstep where you had your first kiss (if the owner doesn't disapprove!).
