Oops she did it again? - Yes, engagement rumors are swirling around Britney Spears! The 29-year-old pop star and celeb has been spotted with a flower-shaped ring recently, oh-so-conspicuously placed on the fourth finger of her left hand (we know what THAT means). Is she secretly engaged to bf (and former agent) Jason Trawick? Sources seem to think so. Trawick, 39, has been Britney's boyfriend of two years, so it seems probable. If what they're saying is true, it could be wedding bells (hopefully not in Vegas this time) for Spears.
Divorce party? - There are engagement parties, bridal showers, and wedding parties… but divorce parties? Really? This is definitely a first for us. Jack White, lead singer of the alternative rock band The White Stripes, has announced that he and wife Karen Elson, have decided to divorce--and celebrate the crumbling marriage by holding a "divorce party" together to mark the "occasion", if you will. Apparently, they're on good terms with each other, with the invitations reading: "Please help us celebrate together this anniversary of the making and breaking of the sacred union of marriage with our best friends and animals."
Eccentric, or just plain weird? We just can't help but wonder what the actual party will be like. Lots of booze? Crying? Dancing? Toasts? We'll just have to see--the party is expected to take place in Nashville tonight.
Hugh ties the knot-- We've confirmed it! In true reality-tv celeb style, Hugh Hefner's wedding to Crystal Harris WILL be televised! Lifetime has created a two hour documentary-special, Marrying Hef, which will capture the big day for the Playboy king. Although the wedding will take place on June 18 at the Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles, Marrying Hef will air on July 13 at 8:00pm on Lifetime--no live drama for us. Still, we'll get to see all of the juicy details (Gown? Flowers? Entertainment? We'll see how they'll compare to royalty like Will & Kate, or if they'll take any inspiration from the most anticipated day.) and exclusive access to the final weeks of Harris's engagement before the wedding. This includes includes Hefner's bachelor party (planned by his sons Marston & Cooper) and Harris & Hefner's latest trip to London, where Hefner gets to meet the 'rents and open the Playboy Club in her hometown. Sounds like this could get VERY interesting…
Kim Bridezilla?-- Sounds like Kim and Khloe are having a bit of a clash over Kim's recent engagement and upcoming nuptials. Although Khloe insists that she's looking forward to being in the wedding (Kim and Kourtney were both maids of honors for Khloe on her big day with hubby Lamar Odom), she's also called Kim a bridezilla! Khloe told People recently, "I don't want to help because Kim is going to be such a bridezilla!" and "If I do one thing wrong, I'll be screwed." Will Kim really be a bridezilla? The forecast is foggy, but sisters know best--and according to Khloe, "Kim goes big." She's joked that Kim's wedding will be like the Royal Wedding… highly anticipated and over the top.
