The Sandia Peak Tramway in New Mexico is an amazing place to visit.
This tramway is the longest aerial tramway in the world and you will travel close to three miles over canyons and gorgeous landscape.
The best time to travel the Sandia Peak Tramway is at sunset with the skies turn a wide array of colors that are simply breathtaking.
This beauty is worth having your camera nearby for sure! When you reach the observation deck at the top of Sandia Peak, you will be at an elevation of 10,378.
From this height, you will be able to see thousands of miles of the Land of Enchantment and the Rio Grande Valley.
The Sandia Peak Tramway is located at the end of Tramway Road in the Sandia Foothills.
This is on the edge of Albuquerque.
There is also the New Mexico Ski Museum at the bottom of the tram that is worth checking out, too.
When you reach Sandia Peak, you may want to enjoy a meal at the High Finance Restaurant.
Not only can you enjoy unparalleled beauty from up here, but you can also enjoy amazing food.
The tram is open during the summer months of Memorial Day to Labor Day from 9am to 9 pm every day.
It is open during the winter from Labor Day to Memorial Day from 9 am until 8pm except on Tuesdays, which is open 5 pm until 8 pm.
Cost: Tram rides for adults cost $17.

Seniors 62 and over pay $15 as do active military with ID and kids 13 to 20 years old.
Children 5 to 12 years old pay $10 and kids under 5 accompanied by an adult are free.
Those who make dinner reservations pay only $13 and a one-way fare is just $9.
