Westin was a very lucky kitten when Kathleen rescued him from a high-kill shelter. The cage information indicated he was eight weeks old, but when he got to his new home they found out he couldn't even eat canned food. He was bottle-fed for the first two weeks, and he still enjoys being cuddled, as a result.

Now four, Westin is still affectionate as he can be, but has a stubborn side too. Kathleen's list of advice for cat "newbies" is some of the best I've ever seen.
