Architectural Charms and an Intimate Vibe
During the day, Pacífico Bar Café is a family-friendly bar with daylight streaming through vintage windows and everybody chatting over rich dishes such as the sorubim moqueca with pirão and rice.
At night, the ensconced little house takes on a romantic atmosphere with dim lamps highlighting the beauty of a 200-year-old stained glass panel, exposed brickwork and multicolored encaustic tile floor.
From the street, one must go down a flight of stairs to arrive at the bar, which once was a studio belonging to one of its architect founders.
The bar serves Brazilian and international wines. The menu includes specials such as a filet and wine fondue or the filet with herb rice, arugula salad, sun-dried tomatoes and buffalo mozzarela, served with a choice of sauces (jaboticaba, Madeira, gorgonzola or poivre).
Tue-Sat 7 p.m. to last customer
