- The Honda Valkyrie motorcycle has been in production since 1996 and it began distribution in the United States in 1997, according to Motorcyclenews.com. The model was officially known as the F6C Valkyrie and it is considered by many motorcycle enthusiasts to be one of the most powerful motorcycles on the market. In 2003, Honda United Kingdom dropped the F6C from their range and in 2004, Honda United States changed the design of the F6C Valkyrie to become the Valkyrie Rune motorcycle. The last year of production for the F6C Valkyrie was 2003.
- In the final year of F6C Valkyrie production, the motorcycle's engine was as powerful as ever. It has a six-cylinder, four-stroke water-cooled engine with 1,520 cubic centimeters of displacement. The single-overhead camshaft engine has two valves per cylinder. There are 2.79 inches of bore by 2.51 inches of stroke on its large engine, with a compression ratio of 9.8:1. This creates 100 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 95.8 foot-pounds of torque at 5,000 rpm.
