But is it really possible to fix what has already been broken, or are we just setting our selves up for inevitable disaster, and extra pain? Getting back together after a break up is possible and there are certain steps that you can take in order to smoothen the process and repair the damage done.
So you've spent a few days hidden away, shedding a quiet tear, and reminding yourself of all the good times you had with your ex.
You've realized that this isn't going to get you anywhere; it's time to pull yourself together and start thinking of how you're going to achieve getting back your significant other.
The question is how are you going to do this? Probably the worst thing you could do is stalk your partner and beg him or her to take you back.
This is not going to improve your success.
Things are better done in a much more subtle manner.

What has been done has been done; it is a bad idea to return to a relationship with all of the baggage that you left with.
Accept that some things may have been said that hurt the other person involved.

It may be difficult to forget what has happened in the past, but if you're serious about getting back together after a break up, this will help you to move forward.
