The episode revolves around Howard Moon and Vince Noir and their adventures in the zoo. Called the Zoo-universe with various adventures liking visiting locations such as Limbo, Monkey Hell, and Arctic Tundra. The BBC commissioned the series in May 2003. It was directed by Paul King.
"Killeroo" has a story in which Howard is blackmailed by Bob, who forces him to fight with a kangaroo in a boxing match. Howard's has a thought of impressing Mrs. Gideon, head of Reptiles, by winning the fight. Vince decides to help him in his training. Oly Ralfe is seen in the gym and at the end of the episode. This episode was aired on 18th May 2004.
"Mutants" revolves around the disappearance of the animals of the Zoo-inverse, when Mrs. Gideon's python goes missing. Howard and Vince discover Dixon Bainbridge's secret laboratory and find the secret of the missing animals. This episode was aired on 25th May 2004.
"Bolo" is a character who becomes ill, but when Grim reaper comes to take him away, he unknowingly takes away Howard, who is dressed as an ape, against his will, so that Bob can accept the sponsored bucks for the gorilla. Vince later travels to Monkey Hell to rescue him. This episode was aired on 1st June 2004.
"Tundra", directed by both Paul King/ Steve Band lack, is about Howard traveling to the Arctic tundra with Vince, his retrieval of an Egg of Manumit. Coming face to face with a demon called the Black Frost. This episode was aired on 6th June 2004.
"Jungle" is all about Bainbridge selling the Zoo-inverse, so that a road can be made through it. And for that purpose Howard and Vince travel to the Jungle Room in search of Tommy Nookah, who is the only one who can help them. This episode was air on 15th June 2004.
"Charlie" is a bubble gum creature in the stories of Vince. Howard is determined to become a writer with the goal to impress Mrs. Gideon. His dream is shattered by Dixon Bainbridge. Howard is given a psychiatric treatment with the help of the Shaman Nabob, Bob Fossil starts a new breeding program for the pandas. This episode was aired on June 22nd 2004.
"Electro" Vince joins Kraft work Orange, an electro band, Johnny Two-Hats leaves the band and later asks Howard to overcome the spirit of Jazz and help him out. This episode was aired on June 29th 2004.
"Hitcher" is about the encounter of Howard and Vince with the mysterious encounter with Hitch-hiker while taking the bear named Ivan who had attacked Bob Fossil. These guys take the bear to the Zoo for the Animal Offenders. This episode was aired on July 6th 2004.
The second series was aired between July 25th 2005 and August 30th 2005. This series revolves around the Howard and Vince adventures while living in their flat. The flat is located at Dalton, England where Howard, Vince, Nabob and Bolo, the ape moved into after leaving the Zoo-inverse. Howard and Vince keep on trying their careers out of the band, often leaving their bands.
