Sharia Law in Britain?

103 1
Graphic images in the British press recently have served to highlight the growing polarity between Muslim resident and non-Muslims.
In a Birmingham street three Muslim ladies were approached by a photographer who simply wished to take their photograph.
Their response was three-fold.
One covered her eyes with her hand, the other stared defiantly at the photographer, and the third lifted her right hand in a V-sign salute.
All were wearing the traditional burqa and niqab.
Observers believe that acts such as this simply exemplify the growing polarization between different sections of British community.
This came right on the heels of recent arrests in Birmingham of suspects allegedly wanting to kidnap a British Muslim soldier and behead him.
All the time, this would have been videoed and put onto the Internet.
There is no doubt that feelings are running high in Birmingham, especially in some areas.
Many young Muslims are defying the British culture and increasingly asking for Sharia Law.
Many of these responses are hardly surprising when Britain, at least, is being plagued by Western values such as repeated drunkenness among young people, fighting in the streets and outside public bars, and other acts of anti-social behavior.
Many Muslim women (and men) simply do not wish to live under Western law and Western rule.
Sharia Law is derived from the Koran and deals with several aspects of daily life including worship, politics, banking, sexuality, marriage and divorce.
It is unbelievable that we could ever become comfortable under such law, which includes such punishments as beheadings and stonings.
Yet in the 18 to 24 age group 40% of British Muslims would prefer to live under Sharia Law.
They even advocate death for Muslims who convert to other religions.
More than 10% of young Muslims report respect and admiration for terrorist organizations such Al Qaeda.
