- 1). Drill a one inch hole through the stud. If the wires are low-voltage, maintain an 18 inch gap between the hole and the nearest AC wires.
- 2). Snap a plastic or rubber grommet in the hole.
- 3). Route the wire through the stud.
- 4). Repeat the process for each metal stud, from start to finish.
