How to Create a Mustache in Photoshop

    • 1). Load onto your computer the photo you want to add the mustache to and one with a mustache you would like to use. The second photo should be roughly the same size and resolution as the first one, and the head of the person in it should be roughly in the same position relative to the camera. Also, they should have the same colored hair and skin tone.

    • 2). Start Photoshop. Click “File” in the top menu, and click “Open.” Browse to and open the photo to which you want to add the mustache.

    • 3). Click “File” in the top menu, and click “Open.” Browse to and open the photo from which you want to get the mustache.

    • 4). Select the “Pen” tool from the toolbar, and use it to draw a path around the mustache. Right-click on the path, and click “Make Selection.”

    • 5). Select “Edit” from the menu, and click “Copy.” Go back to the other document, and click “Paste.”

    • 6). Use the “Move” tool to position the mustache in roughly the correct position on the face. Select “Edit” from the menu, and click “Free Transform.” Use the handles that appear around the mustache to adjust the shape and angle to the face in the photo.

    • 7). Go to the “Layers” panel, and reduce the mustache layer “Opacity” to 80 percent. Select the “Smudge” tool from the toolbar, and use it to blend the edges of the mustache with the face. Save your work.
