We live with nature, but we don't live naturally. We live on the earth, but we don't nurture it. Most of the time we hide ourselves from the sun but use hot water to take shower. We protect ourselves from all the natural things ha good for us. We fall ill frequently and get worried about our health. There is one simple thing to follow just to keep in touch with nature that is walk barefoot. Walking barefoot on mother earth is like hugging your mother and feeling the love. Our feet is sensitive with lot of acupressure points on our feet which need to be get rubbed. Bur we wear footwear every time and deprive our foot to get the feeling of different surfaces. People have an obsession for clean, beautiful and soft feet. Everything depends on your choice that whether you want to look pretty and sick or strong and healthy. Health makes you wear a smile on your face that no spa or beauty parlor in this world can give. No child in this world wears shoes and learns to walk. Minerals that are lost from our body is restored when walking barefoot. Walking barefoot is especially good for knee pain, stiffness in the joints, and back pain. Walking barefoot doesn't mean you should always walk without footwear. When you go out you should wear the sandals because your feet can get injured because of rough surfaces and heat.
Meenu and Mona dressed in pink and white uniforms were returning from school around 3 pm in the scorching afternoon heat. They were walking bare foot, slowly. There are many children in the city especially those who go to government school walk sans footwear when they go to school. Those who don't use footwear frequently have the healthiest and most supple feet as compared to those who use it all the time. Studies have proved that non-shoe-wearers have better flexibility and mobility, stronger feet, fewer deformities, and fewer complaints than those who wear shoes regularly. It is also advised that when a child wears a shoe, it must be of lightweight, flexible, and most importantly it should not have the arch supports and stiff sides once deemed necessary to give the foot support. Many pediatric orthopedists are strongly "corrective" or "orthopedic" shoes for straightening foot and leg deformities like flat feet, pigeon toes, knock-knees, or bowlegs. It is also advised to walk barefoot early in the morning on grass because it is beneficial for health.
