A Valued Account
Folks, there are 2 types of agent / agencies that you can acquire your coverage through.
The first type will tell you what you want to hear at every turn and then hope no problems arise for at least the first 12 mos.
of your coverage while they collect their commission each month.
And yes the price is exactly the same no matter where you get your insurance if you buy the same plan from the same insurance company.
The second type, which are becoming more and more rare these days, are more concerned in your coverage working properly for you and in helping you to keep an eye on things once insured.
We are the the second type of agency.
And that is why we have only grown over the last 10 + years in business.
Frankly, our goal is not to sell an insurance policy.
No, we wish to help you manage this risk for as long as you require health insurance sales / service.
Many of you are 45 -60 years of age and will need to do so at least until age 65 (Medicare age).
Over the last 10 years we have had many of the same clients working with us through 3 - 4 different insurance companies as, yes, typically each year there will be a renewal, or rate adjustment, as many of you already know.
Annually, we send out spread sheet reviews to help folks stay ahead of the game, one month before their renewal goes into place.
It doesn't have to mean the end of our working relationship considering we are currently licensed with 19 different leading companies.
This is about you and us, building confidence / trust.
We consider each new applicant an account which is to be respected, and hopefully, in the best interests of both of us, maintained.
Recently, we had a client mail over 40+ billing invoices to our office (it was less expensive then going to Kinko's to fax them) so that we could review them and then forward them to her insurance company where we will follow up and make sure that they are applied to her deductible / coinsurance properly.
Although you pay for this level of service anyway, folks rarely receive it ...
why not receive it? If you do business with us, you will not be alone in this.
When you find good people, why not retain them instead of starting all over with a new agent every time you get a rate increase? Going through us, you cannot do better in terms coverage / price or continued service.
