Suzuki manufactured two models of the 2004 Marauder motorcycle, the 800 and 1600. The 800 retails for $11,000 and features t-bar handlebars. The t-bar is a relatively new design that is sleeker than traditional handlebars. Replacing a t-bar is more expensive than other handlebar styles. Find additional t-bar handlebars online. - Certain measurements must be considered when assessing a motorcycle handlebar. The height, or rise, indicates how high the handlebar sits above the motorcycle body. Pullback measures the distance of handlebar ends in relation to the center of the handlebar. Clamp area indicates where handlebars attach to the motorcycle. Due to the unique design of Suzuki Marauder handlebars, some of these measurements are not applicable.
- Handlebars on the 2004 Suzuki Marauder 800 are polished stainless steel. Manufacturers stopped using chrome as a standard motorcycle material due to durability issues and restoration difficulties. The handlebars measure 1 inch in diameter with welded t-bars in the clamp area. Wires, lines and cables are ran through the t-bars and concealed for a cleaner look.
- T-bar handlebar replacements are available for Suzuki Marauder motorcycles, handlebars at the Classic Cruiser company range from $400 to $600. Standard handlebars from Scoot Works cost between $75 and $300. Manufacturers state handlebar compatibility is subjective, customers should measure carefully before purchasing any handlebar replacement.
