Let's face it...
You will have mornings where you wake up and "wanting to look good" won't be enough motivation to get you out of bed.
However, "wanting to look better and be healthier so you can set a good example for your kids" is something that will motivate you.
So how do you go about uncovering your strong "why?" Well one way you can do it is by first asking yourself why you want to get a six pack? Your first answer will likely be a surface want like we discussed above.
Then take that want and ask yourself "why" again.
You'll uncover a deeper want.
Keep going until you've uncovered your deepest and most emotional reasons behind getting a six pack.
It's important you don't judge the answers you come up with.
Emotional motivators don't always make logical sense.
They're not supposed to.
In fact I would argue the less "logical" your reasons are, the better.
Your answers should be so personal, you would almost be embarrassed to show anyone.

Here's a few examples to get you thinking in the right direction...
* "I want to lose 30 lbs to set an positive example for my youngest grand-child struggling with her weight.
" * "I want to shed 30 pounds to increase my confidence to hook up with the hot blonde at work and impress my buddies at the same time.
" * "I want to lose 30 lbs of fat to "define" my identity in life as someone who doesn't settle for second best.
" Some of those reasons may appear superficial.
That's ok.
Those are oftentimes the best motivators because they get you to move.
By now you're starting to see the positive effect emotional motivators can have on getting you ripped six pack abs.
Remember, when the going gets tough, emotions - not logic - is what's going to motivate you to keep going.
